Casa Pacifica

Help Us Build New Foundations of Hope

Our campaign is geared toward meeting the overwhelming needs of the most vulnerable children and youth in our community. Reaching that goal is only possible with the support of donors like you — and every contribution makes a difference. Your donation today helps us provide guidance and support that lasts a lifetime.

Seeing is Believing

We encourage you to visit our campus and discover firsthand how your donations help us make a difference. You’ll also be able to see where our new facilities will be built and witness the many different ways we provide hope and support for our community’s families and youth.

Ways to Give

We gladly accept donations in a variety of forms, including:

By making a cash gift by check, credit card or money order today, you enable us to meet our most urgent needs and carry out our mission on a daily basis. You will have the opportunity to see your generosity in action and will also receive an immediate federal income tax charitable deduction when you itemize.
You want to leave money to Casa Pacifica in your will. You also want the flexibility to change your will in the event that life circumstances change. You can do both. In as little as one sentence, you can complete your gift. This type of donation to Casa Pacifica in your will or living trust helps ensure that we continue our mission for years to come.
If you have the actual stock certificates, these can also be assigned to Casa Pacifica. Each certificate needs to be signed by each person listed on the front of the certificate(s). A letter of contribution gifting the stock to Casa Pacifica must accompany the gift. Each person listed on the stock certificate(s) must also sign the letter.
Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at Casa Pacifica. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure ongoing support.
A donor advised fund, which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Casa Pacifica and other charities. You can then recommend -- but not direct -- how much and how often money is granted. In addition, you avoid the cost and complexities of managing a private foundation.
There are two ways that charitable lead trusts make payments to Casa Pacifica. A charitable lead annuity trust pays a fixed amount each year to Casa Pacifica and is more attractive when interest rates are low. A charitable lead unitrust pays a variable amount each year based on the value of the assets in the trust. With a unitrust, if the trust's assets go up in value, for example, the payments to Casa Pacifica go up as well.
When you give us appreciated property that you have held longer than one year, you get a federal income tax charitable deduction. This eliminates capital gains tax. And you no longer have to deal with that property's maintenance costs, property taxes or insurance.

“I was feeling hopeless. My little boy was hurting himself and others with exhaustive regularity. I remember thinking he was unreachable. You held my son even when he said he didn’t need to be hugged … a scruffy little boy turned into a vibrant young man in the nurturing circle of your arms. Thank you, Casa Pacifica.”
